Growing between 16 and 27 inches, these plants are a cross between dwarf and tall iris varieties creating an earlier bloom. These flowers, such as our Gay Hussar, can have a beautiful eye or spot pattern given to them by the dwarf breed. They bloom from late spring to early summer (April-June) and are best planted from mid spring to early autumn (July-September).
